I really appreciated the hotel's beautiful decoration and cozy atmosphere. The common areas were well-maintained and provided a lovely ambiance for relaxation. , I found the hotel to be quite accessible for senior people, with clear signage and spacious hallways that made it easy to navigate.

I would have preferred if the staff had been more attentive and respectful towards senior guests. It would have been nice to receive a little extra assistance or consideration from the staff, who sometimes seemed preoccupied or uninterested in providing a better vacation experience for us senior travelers.

The hotel itself was empty, even so it had amiable staff. The location close to the beach was particularly good and marvellous. Found a place called Restaurante Quebramar, set around 4-6 minutes away by foot from the venue, ate there a few times.

The rooms at Ibis Rio De Janeiro Barra Da Tijuca offer a magnificent view of Barra da Tijuca Beach, perfect for beach lovers like us! We loved waking up to the sound of crashing waves and feeling the ocean breeze through our windows.

Some nights, the bar area facing the sea can get a bit noisy. It may not bother everyone, but we found it a little disruptive at times.

Comfortable double room that had all we needed like a hair dryer and a TV. Great location, close to everything we wanted to visit without needing to use transport 🚶‍♂️.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The apartment was nice, comfortable, very clean and had a great view to the beach. The bar had a very good selection of craft beers and the location was very convenient for getting into the Southern part of the city. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby and the area is very safe. The beach is across the street, which gives you an opportunity to start your day by swimming in the ocean. The bed was very comfortable, the staff of the hotel nice and friendly. We really liked the location, although the empty hotel next door was rather strange for us. Wifi was reasonable. The hotel is right in front of the beach. Excellent if you choose Barra for your stay. 10 minutes away there is a road full of bar and restaurants and the metro station is about 15 minutes away from hotel. Clean and well-maintained.

The hotel is close to all the exciting city events like Carnaval and the samba parades. It was great being able to experience the vibrant energy of Rio de Janeiro right at our doorstep. The location made it convenient for our family to immerse ourselves in the local culture and festivities.

My children wanted a playground or some outdoor recreational area where they could burn off their energy.
